Madam Eunice Ohenewaa Ansu, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Juaben, has inspected some ongoing projects, as part of the Assembly’s vision to improve access to quality education and promote equitable development across communities in the municipality.
The inspection tour reflects the MCE’s hands-on leadership approach aimed at ensuring value for money and strict adherence to specifications in the execution of government-funded projects.
Her first stop was Amangoase, where she inspected the construction of a six-unit primary school classroom block.
The facility comprises an office, a library, a store, and a six-unit KVIP facility designed to serve both boys and girls.
At Onaa, Madam Ansu also inspected a two-unit kindergarten (KG) classroom block with an office and toilet facilities, a project she described as critical to strengthening early childhood education within the community.

Both school projects are being executed by Red-Orange Limited.
Mr. Amoh Poku Bright, the contractor, assured the MCE that the works would meet all contractual specifications and be completed within six months.
The MCE also inspected the ongoing reshaping of the Boamadumase–Duampompo road.
The road serves a major agricultural area known for plantain production, and residents welcomed the rehabilitation, saying it would ease transportation challenges and improve access to market centres for farm produce.
Madam Ansu expressed satisfaction with the progress of work and emphasised the transformative impact the KG facility would have on early childhood development.
She urged the contractor to strictly adhere to timelines and quality standards and called on community members to take collective responsibility for maintaining the facilities upon completion.
Residents of Amangoase and Onaa described the projects as historic, noting that they represent the first formal school infrastructure ever constructed in their communities.
According to them, the new facilities will reduce the financial burden on parents, improve access to education, and increase school enrollment.
Madam Ansu reiterated the Assembly’s commitment to infrastructure development that directly supports education, agriculture, and local economic growth across the municipality.
