The Management of the Sunyani Municipal Directorate of Health has honoured Mr Ransford Antwi, the Chief Executive Officer of the Suncity Group of Companies for his exceptional contributions towards advancing healthcare service delivery in the municipality.

Mr Antwi, who was an independent parliamentary candidate in the Election 2020 received special citation for his “massive support” towards health outreach programmes.

A statement issued by his office and copied to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) explained that Mr Antwi was honoured at the just ended Annual Performance Review meeting of the Directorate in Sunyani.

The statement expressed gratitude to the directorate for the recognition and encouraged staff of the directorate to continue to “serve with a smile on their faces, despite the numerous challenges associated with their work.

“I further pledged to continuously support the Directorate as I’ve been doing since 1996, when I organised the first Dinner and Awards Night for Health Workers at the then Brong-Ahafo Regional Hospital, with sponsorship from the Ghana Airways,” it added.
