The Mount Moriah Congregation of the Presbyterian Church, Danfa on Sunday launched this year’s Youth and Students Week celebration with a call on members to step out of their comfort zone and build the spiritual growth.

The Youth and Students Week is a dedicated period aimed at empowering and nurturing young members of the church as future leaders. The celebration focuses on spiritual growth, mentorship, and active involvement of youth in church activities.

As part of the launch, several young members attended the service dressed in their old Senior High School uniforms, creating a colourful and nostalgic atmosphere.

The week-long programme is expected to feature various activities designed to inspire, equip, and strengthen the youth within the congregation including a talk on the positive effect of social media

Rev. Daniel Kwesi Ayim, Minister in charge of the Mount Moriah Congregation earlier in a sermon advised the members of the congregation to step out of their comfort zone and step into their blessings.

The church also used the occasion to launch the 2026 annual fundraising to support the building of a children’s chapel.
