The Christ Resurrection Church has climaxed its 40th anniversary celebration recognizing immense growth in evangelizing and salvaging people from wrongdoing.
The church admits that since its establishment in 1986, it had walked through turbulent moments but with perseverance and purpose-driven mission as Christians overcame the down moments.

It has grown over the years with at least 26 branches across the country and is still planning to plant new churches.
Apostle Joseph Emmanuel Mensah, the General Overseer of the Church, speaking at a service to climax the celebrations in Kumasi, touted the Church’s role in showing kindness through education and health assistance to give hope to the people.
Preaching on the theme “Celebrating the Covenant Keeping God”, he rallied Christians to have renewed hope and live peacefully with one another.
The General Overseer said true children of God walked by faith, exuded truth and contributed to the growth of communities and nations, adding that, the church must always serve as an abode of peace and mediation.
Showing an act of kindness, according to him, must be the watch word for people as many in the society were vulnerable and needed assistance from Christians.

The church, as part of the 40th anniversary celebrations, organised a series of educational and thought-provoking activities to sensitize members and the public on the need to stay up-to-date and be health conscious.
The activities included a symposium on the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the need for members to embrace advanced technological tools including artificial intelligence.
Again, the church organised a health walk and screening as well as fun games to keep members fit.
