Ho Municipal FA holds successful 2025/2026 ordinary congress session 

The Ho Municipal Football Association has held its 2025/2026 Ordinary Congress, reaffirming commitment to grassroots development and stakeholder collaboration in Ho.

The successful session took place at the Ho Municipal Assembly Hall on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, and brought together key football stakeholders within the municipality.

Mr Forster Kudiabor, Chairman of the Association, who opened the meeting urged members to remain united in advancing local football.

He said the Association would continue to prioritise discipline, transparency and youth development to strengthen football administration across the municipality.

Mr Otis Dodzi Ahorsey, the Secretary of the Association, later presented a detailed account of activities and achievements chalked up during the past year.

He said the Executive Council remained committed to supporting football entrepreneurs and other stakeholders to help sustain and grow football-related businesses.

“The Association recognises football as both a sport and an enterprise, and we will continue to create an enabling environment for all stakeholders,” Mr Ahorsey stated.

The Congress was attended by the Volta Regional Football Association Chairman, Mr Daniel Agbogah, accompanied by Secretary Michael Promise Ahiagba, as well as Mr Ruben Dzidodo Adzahoe of the National Sports Authority.

The session was further enlivened by surprise appearances of the Member of Parliament for Ho Central, Mr Edem Kofi Kpotosu, and the Ho Municipal Chief Executive, Mr Stephen Adom, while members were informed that the Juvenile League would begin on January 17, 2026, followed by the Division Three League on January 31.
