Organisers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) will on Saturday, March 14, 2026, release the full list of nominees for the 27th edition of the country’s biggest music honours.

The announcement follows weeks of assessment by the TGMA Board and Selection Committee, who reviewed submissions based on artistic merit, technical quality and cultural impact.

Nominees would be unveiled in hourly batches across official TGMA social media platforms and partner channels from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

A separate nominees announcement show would confirm the top five headline categories and outline key activities ahead of the main ceremony.

This year’s rollout would also include the publication of the TGMA calendar, detailing events leading to the awards night, as well as updates on new programme features and innovations.

An industry mixer would close the day, offering artistes and executives a platform to discuss trends shaping the current music cycle.

Ghana’s music scene in 2025 has been driven by digital trends, viral releases and a surge in emerging talent, heightening expectations around which acts would secure nominations.

The 27th TGMAs is produced by Charterhouse in partnership with TV3, Closeup, British Council, Guinness and powered by Telecel Ghana.
