Oseadeeyo Kwasi Akuffo Foundation (OKWAF) has donated items to widows and widowers in Aburi and other communities in the Eastern Region to put smiles on their faces in the festive season.
Beneficiaries received bags of rice, sugar, and canned mackerel among other items.
The donation took place at the Emmanuel Congregation Presbyterian Church; a feast was also organised for them.
The moment was made more poignant by the fact that the act of generosity was done in remembrance of Oseadeeyo Nana Kwasi Akuffo III, the Paramount Chief of Okuapemman.
The atmosphere was filled with smiles, prayers, and emotional expressions as recipients shared their delight in the surprise.

The beneficiaries expressed appreciation, feeling honoured that the Chief had them in mind during the festive season—a blessing they had not expected.

The foundation representatives noted that every widow and widower received a substantial quantity of rice along with the other items to alleviate household food needs during the holidays.
