Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe chairs Hearts of Oak’s Interim Management Committee

Hearts of Oak has appointed an Interim Management Committee (IMC) to oversee the affairs of the club following the resignation of Managing Director Julius Ben Emunah.

The decision was announced in a club statement, which said the committee would steer the operations of the club until a new management team is appointed.

The IMC is chaired by Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe and includes Mr Samuel Wilfred Yaw Inkoom, who will oversee finance; Mr Akwasi Agyemang, operations; Mr Vincent Sowah Odotei, administration; and Alhaji Yusif Abdullai, National Chapters Committee Chairman, responsible for mobilisation.

The statement signed by Executive Chairman Togbe Afede XIV, assured supporters and stakeholders of its commitment to maintaining the club’s standards and ensuring its continued growth both locally and on the continental stage.

The board also called on fans and stakeholders to support the committee in the discharge of its duties.

Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak opened their 2026/27 Ghana Premier League campaign in impressive fashion with a 4-0 victory over Berekum Chelsea.

The Phobians would be looking to build on that strong start when they travel to Bibiani on Sunday to face defending champions Gold Stars FC at Duns Park.
